The British War Office made A Welcome to Britain (1943) to welcome  American GIs arriving in Britain for the first time and to give them a little background to British customs. Presented by Lieutenant Burgess Meredith with some help from Bob Hope and Beatrice Lillie. Meredith was with the U.S Air Transport Command and later became The Penguin in the 1960s Batman television and also starred in our DVD and Blu-ray Madame X. The music score is by  William Alwyn.

In Letter From Ulster (1943), two American brothers stationed with the US Air Force in Northern
Ireland are taken to task by their Commanding Officer for not writing home. They take a tour of the province to gather material to send to their families about life in their new home. Music score by William Alwyn.
